New York Rangers Pittsburgh Sport reviews
NHL Playoffs
I attended this NHL Match with my son Peter who is an NHL fan but as we are from England had not had the opertunity to attend a match thus far. The stadium was excellent , comfortable seats , good views and the atmosphere was brilliant with the crowd putting UK Football crowds to shame.
The match was exciting and a great experience the only down side was the inordinate stops for plays ( which seems to be a feature of most American Sports ) which mean't 60 minutes of Hockey took 3 and a quarter hours to play !! Also the noise was sometimes deafing.
Overall I would recommend the experience and would go again if ever the opportunity arose.
Go Rangers !!!
Jan 27 win over VGK, 4-1
Hard to imagine why a redesigned MSG would have seats with obstructed view.
Let's start with the beer. Only 2 choices (Stella & Bud Light) and about 17 bucks a pop. Did like the sippy cup lids to prevent spills. TCB arena has a better beer selection. Very narrow walkway behind the back row, and folks had to line up for both the bathrooms and concessions.
Speaking of bathrooms, the men's room had one toilet, 1 urinal and ran out of paper towels. TCB arena has very clean and spacious bathrooms and maintained paper towels until the end of the game.
From the end of the arena where i sat, the Rangers Stanley Cup banners could not be seen at all.
I heard from others at the game their displeasure with the new design. I got the tickets as a Christmas present gift from my brother, and I didn't have the heart to expect my friend to pay for this seat.
Still managed to have a good time, though. All the goals were scored down at our end. Despite not being familiar with the subway system, I made it to my train in Grand Central with 5 minutes to spare, and despite a sold out MSG and being in the subway stations 4 times, i managed not to get covid.
